Last year, I worked as a UI and Creative Intern for PepTalk Wellbeing, a health and wellbeing startup created by Bernard and James Brogan and some of their friends.
At PepTalk, my responsibilities were divided equally between creating content for our clients and researching and redesigning elements of our UI to find out what works and what doesn’t.
User Experience Research, Customer Survey, Wireframing, Rapid Prototyping,User Interface Design
Google Forms, Usability Testing, Pen and Paper, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD
• I was responsible
for researching the
app to identify
elements that worked
and those that didn’t.
• One such element
that I identified was
the ‘Pep’ button on
the profile screen that
opens the ‘PepCheck’
function of our app.
• Another similar
element was the team
icon on the
Leaderboard page
whose function was
unclear.
• Building on the MVP
release of the app,
PepTalk planned to
introduce a photo
sharing function.
• I was part of the
team that designed
and wireframed this
new function.
• Before our design
session, I was tasked
with creating
different options to
present this new
function in order to
give our team a set of
options to build upon.
